We all know Shel Silverstein, poet behind “Where the sidewalk ends” and the like. But, what many don’t know is that he was a folk star of the 1970s. Bellow is a video of him playing a rocking little jam on the Johnny Cash Show. Along with preforming songs he wrote many songs including the famous song “Boy Name Sue.”

To hear him at his best check out the album “Crouchin’ on the outside“. Do yourself a favor a buy it. He was also one of the originators of the Scalper style.
